MITCHEL SMITH -
TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Who Am I?
Beginning in elementary school with writing short stories and drawing original characters, I have always been interested in storytelling and design. Even though my imagination lets me enjoy the stories and worlds my mind creates, I've always had the desire for other people to experience them and feel the same passion for them that I do. Before graduating high school, I decided that the best way for me to bring these worlds to life was to become a game designer, which led me to pursuing the major at the University of Central Florida.
After graduating with my Bachelor's in Digital Media along the Game Design track at UCF, I was accepted to the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, where earned my Masters in Interactive Entertainment after an intensive 16-month program. During my time at UCF, I have contributed to several game projects, creating a mix of Unreal Engine and Unity games.
While I have focused primarily on technical design within my career, I have worked on other projects in order to hone my overall skills in design. These projects have included various works ranging from interactive fiction and game pitches to video editing and creating game design documents.
I'm a devout Christian that values honesty, integrity, and respect.
